Sure the new phone has a bigger and nicer screen. My battery was having issues and one app was having problems, but generally I'm kind of regretting the upgrade. I keep missing out on the exact upgrades I want and the device lasts so long you can't justify the upgrade, so I sometimes am 4-5 years late to a feature. I got my 2010 MBP right before they redesigned it later that year, and held out on my iPhone 7 so long for a high refresh display, that I got the 12 just assuming that Apple just isn't gonna do it for battery life's sake - then of course the 13 finally gets it, then I got my iPad Air right before the M1 chips came out the same year. Honestly Apple stuff lasts so long I get constant FOMO of trying to nail the right year to upgrade. I love checking out new tech features and trying the latest stuff and all, but it's an irritating pain in the arse to be shopping for new tech all the time because your current stuff is shitting the bed. My 2010 MBP got support to the very end, and despite a swelling battery, broken aircard (no more wifi is when I called it quits), it had trade-in value towards my iPad Air. /r/iOSSetups for iOS wallpapers, setups, and apps.Įxactly this./r/AppleSwap if you want to trade devices!.Keep an eye on temporarily free or discounted apps on /r/AppHookup!.Your iPhone broke?
